Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, strong experience in managing financial records, and the ability to handle complex accounting tasks within a fast-paced, growing business environment. This role will focus on overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring GST & TAX compliance, managing accounts, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth in the textile industry. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining up-to-date financial records. GST Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws, including: Preparation and Reporting of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ETC.). Ensure proper reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC). TDS Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely compliance with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations, including: Deducting TDS on payments to vendors, contractors, and employees as per the applicable rates. Preparing TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) within due dates. Handling TDS reconciliations, assessments, and ensuring payments are made on time. Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all payments are processed on time and collections are efficiently handled. Inventory Management: Work closely with the operations team to ensure accurate tracking of inventory. Audit Preparation: Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards. Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA-CMA Dropout is preferred. Experience: 3+ years in a senior accounting role, preferably within the textile or manufacturing industry. Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles, GST, and tax laws. Proficient in accounting software Tally prime and MS Excel. Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership skills. In-depth understanding of inventory management and cost accounting in the textile industry.
